Sweater and Hat Order

I am so in love with this yarn. It breaks my heart (only just a tiny bit) that they have discontinued the yarn. I have slightly stocked up on it (in case my good ole friend finds out she is having a boy).

So here it is. A final look at an order I had for a hat and sweater.

A work in progress..

Here is a work in progress order. A baby boy sweater. I am currently working on the matching hat.

This is by far my most favorite pattern. It screams sophisticated baby ;-)

Little Man wrap sweater

i love love love me some cute baby knits. I knit this sweater for my littlest man the other day. It's a light weight cotton fleece for the spring/summer weather. I told my husband, who was reluctantly looking at me when I was making a sweater for above 70 weather, "babies always need an extra layer at night." I guess it didn't dawn on me that we rarely take our little ones out late at night... EVER.

Whatever though! He wore it the other day when the weather was freezing. Lovely Spring day! ICK!

I am not in love with the cotton fleece yarn. It would snag a lot on anything (especially my nails if they were recently cut or in need of cutting). So there were a few snags in it. I DO love how it wraps around. It's a 3-6 month size, so a little big still for my 3 month old.

Don't you just love hand knits? LOVE THEM. Now I am on to an Etsy order. Good times!
